Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead AI Platform & Agentic Systems to lead the architecture, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on software engineering expertise combined with technical leadership experience and a proven track record of taking complex applications into production.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, development, and deployment of scalable GenAI and Agentic AI applications.
• Design enterprise-grade backend systems using Python, FastAPI, REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Design and implement LLM, RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, and AI orchestration solutions.
• Build autonomous and multi-agent systems involving tool calling, memory, planning, workflow orchestration, and agent governance.
• Design and develop agent-based applications using Google Agent Development Kit (ADK).
• Work extensively with Google Cloud Platform, including Vertex AI, Cloud Run, Cloud Build, Cloud Storage, IAM, Secret Manager, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud SQL.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including indexing, query optimization, transactions, and performance tuning.
• Implement vector search using pgvector or equivalent technologies.
• Establish engineering standards covering coding practices, testing, security, code reviews, and deployment.
• Guide and mentor engineering teams and drive technical delivery.
• Work with Docker, GitHub Actions, CI/CD and automated deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to define technical roadmaps.

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python.
• Strong expertise in FastAPI, REST APIs, Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI / LLMs / RAG / Prompt Engineering.
• Strong understanding of Agentic AI and Multi-Agent Systems.
• Hands-on experience with Google Agent Development Kit (ADK) – Mandatory.
• Strong experience with GCP and Vertex AI.
• Experience with Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, IAM.
• Strong PostgreSQL expertise.
• Experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD and GitHub Actions.
• Strong system design and software architecture skills.
• Proven technical leadership and team mentoring experience.
