Job summary

Tekskills is seeking a data migration specialist to understand migration requirements and the Teamcenter data model. You will design data mappings, write migration scripts, and perform unit tests to ensure accuracy and reliability.

You will optimize SQL scripts, guide developers, and contribute to the overall migration strategy, rehearsals, and execution steps, ensuring a smooth data transition.

Qualifications

• Experience with Data Migration ETL methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to understand source databases, data models and business requirements for data migration.
• Proficiency in extracting data from Teamcenter schema using SQL scripts.
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL and Oracle PL/SQL functions, procedures, cursors, DML, joins, and performance tuning.
• Ability to write complex queries to meet business needs and handle data import/export.

Job Description:
1. Understand the Data Migration Requirements
2. Understand the Teamcenter Data model and solution
3. Create the data mapping
4.Create scripts for migration, Unit test
5. Understand the overall migration strategy and steps and execute the Rehearsals

Essential Skills:

Should have in-depth understanding of Data Migration ETL methodology.
Should be able to understand Source Database systems, Source data model, Business requirements for Data migration.
Should possess knowledge on extracting data from the team center schema using SQL script.
Should have good knowledge on MS SQL and Oracle PL/SQL functions, procedures, cursors, DML operations, collection, triggers, Index, Joins, CTE..Etc.
Should be able to write complex queries meeting the business requirement.
Should have very good knowledge on Data Import/Export techniques.
Should be able to tune the script respect to performance and should have deep knowledge on Query execution plan & optimization.
Should be able to guide the developers for any technical queries and practice coding standard.
Good verbal and written Communication skills.

Desirable Skills:
Worked with a Japanese customer for 1 PLM Data Migration (any PLM).
Basic knowledge of Japanese.
Experience in fast bulk loader utility- Knowledge on extracting data from Teamcenter database.
Basic Knowledge of Teamcenter PLM Data Model.
Knowledge of Database Performance Tuning Techniques.
