Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related study.

  • Experience in development with C# (.NET), or similar object-oriented languages.
  • Experience in development with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Experience in development with structured database such as SQL, MySQL, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Writing, testing, and documenting code for Software development.
  • Provide technical documentation for system, features, and components.
  • Automated unit test for the developed features.
  • Provide thorough unit testing to ensure a quality product is delivered.
  • Support automated end to end testing.
  • Follow and support agile methodologies and practices by actively participating in all SCRUM ceremonies.
  • Designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting production deployments.
  • Implement and maintain security and data privacy best practices.
  • Create scalable and high-performance web services for data tracking.
  • Test prototypes and oversee handover to operational teams.
  • Provide guidance and training to individuals and other functional groups as needed.

Position Summary

The DevOPs Engineer - C# is part of Thales IFEC payment squad. This individual is responsible for design, implement, test and deploy SW features. He is contributing to developing, sustaining and supporting payment features. To be successful, the candidate will need to have solid experience within the AGILE/SCRUM software development methodology, object-oriented programming concepts, and full software development life cycles. The candidate should have sufficient technical and leadership skills to be a mentor to entry-level engineers and be able to work collaboratively with his/her team. This individual needs to be accountable for his/her commitment (both technically and behaviorally), be able to cooperate effectively, demonstrate willingness to lead/mentor others, and be adaptive in working with different stakeholders.

Essential Functions / Key Areas Of Responsibility

Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience with TFS, Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, & JAMA tools.
  • Experience with orchestration and containerization tools such as Kubernetes and Docker
  • Entity Framework
  • RedHat A-MQ (or ActiveMQ)
  • Experince in developing REST APIs
  • OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Azure AD authentication
  • Experience in implementing SAAS for solution monitoring is a plus (Datadog…)
