Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Lead technical planning, design, and execution of Hydro PSP projects from feasibility to commissioning.
• Oversee hydraulic and structural design, geotechnical investigations, and layout optimization.
• Guide preparation of feasibility studies, DPRs, and tender documents.
• Ensure compliance with national and international engineering standards and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering.
• Evaluate and implement advanced engineering software and modeling tools.
• Manage technical risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Represent ReNew in technical discussions with consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Mentor and build a high-performing technical team.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors/Masters in Civil, Mechanical, or Hydropower Engineering
• 15+ years of experience in hydropower and pumped storage projects
• Proven track record in leading large-scale hydroelectric projects
• Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, HEC-RAS)
