Detailed Job Description:
As a Technical Field Engineer at Sisir Radar in Kolkata, you will serve as a frontline technical anchor responsible for maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting high‑precision RF test equipment and subsystems. Your daily responsibilities will encompass testing and validating RF subsystems, troubleshooting and debugging complex electronic circuits and system power‑flow issues, analyzing and characterizing RF signals, and operating spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes. You will apply specialized knowledge of RF active and passive circuits, RF attenuators, couplers, isolators, and circulators. Key Responsibilities:
- Calibrate precision instruments and maintain comprehensive documentation for RF test environments and laboratories.
- Test, evaluate, and validate radio frequency (RF) subsystems and hardware components.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and debug electronic circuits and system power‑flow issues efficiently.
- Analyze and characterize complex RF signals to ensure optimal performance and signal integrity.
- Operate advanced RF test and measurement equipment including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
- Apply expert technical knowledge of RF active and passive circuits, EMI/EMC principles, and RF shielding.
- Utilize and configure RF components including attenuators, directional couplers, isolators, and circulators.
- Collaborate proactively with cross‑functional engineering and production teams during testing cycles.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, quality control protocols, and testing documentation practices.
- Author detailed technical test reports, calibration logs, and troubleshooting documentation.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or a Diploma / ITI in Electronics (Mandatory qualification requirement).
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of hands‑on professional experience in RF testing, instrumentation, and troubleshooting.
- Strong practical experience operating spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and digital oscilloscopes.
- Solid foundational knowledge of RF active/passive circuits, EMI/EMC principles, and RF shielding techniques.
- Proven ability to debug electronic circuits and analyze system power‑flow issues.
- Strong analytical problem‑solving, attention to detail, and technical documentation skills.
- Mandatory availability: Candidates who can join immediately or within 15 days are preferred.
- Mandatory readiness to attend a face‑to‑face interview in Kolkata.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills:
