JLL in Pune is seeking a Technical Executive with BE Electrical and 4–8 years of experience in utilities and facility management. You will manage critical infrastructure, including DG yards, UPS, chiller plants, AHUs, and water treatment operations, ensuring reliability and compliance.
You will lead maintenance teams, coordinate with vendors, monitor service invoices, and generate daily/weekly reports to support cost controls and smooth operations across building services.

The ideal candidate must possess comprehensive hands‑on experience in managing critical utility infrastructure and building services. This includes operational knowledge and maintenance expertise across diverse technical systems:
Power & Electrical Systems: Proficient management of DG (Diesel Generator) yard operations including generator maintenance, fuel management, load testing, and emergency backup protocols. Strong understanding of UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems, battery management, and power distribution networks.
HVAC & Cooling Infrastructure: Extensive experience with chiller plant operations, including water‑cooled and air‑cooled systems, chiller efficiency optimization, and preventive maintenance protocols. Thorough knowledge of air conditioning systems, AHU (Air Handling Units), HVAC controls, temperature regulation, and climate control management across facility spaces.
Water & Environmental Systems: Hands‑on operational experience with Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) including biological treatment processes, effluent quality monitoring, and compliance management. Proficiency in Water Treatment Plant (WTP) operations covering raw water treatment, filtration systems, chemical dosing, water quality testing, and potable water distribution.
Supporting Infrastructure: Working knowledge of related utility systems including fire fighting systems, plumbing networks, drainage management, and building management systems (BMS) integration.
Executing flawless technical activities
As the go‑to person in all things technical, you’ll keep the Company up to speed on operating and utilities costs. Together with the building manager, you will monitor the invoices for technical services rendered. Aside from these, you’ll keep an eye out on the maintenance practices of our contractors to ensure that their scope of work is aligned with manufacturer recommendations and our own preventive maintenance standards.
You’ll also oversee the repair and maintenance of cooling and heating systems, plumbing and water supply, electricity and lighting fixtures, and other equipment and supplies. Moreover, you’ll be in charge of performing routine inspection, inventory and documentation of these systems.
Providing sound leadership to boost results
Ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operation is a responsibility that requires impeccable leadership skills. You’ll demonstrate this by overseeing our electricians and their scope of work. You’ll also work closely with pretty much everyone across the board--from superiors to peers and subordinates.
Aside from our internal teams, you’ll also be the main point of contact for our vendors for all maintenance services. Churning out reports will also be part of your mandate. In this role, you’ll monitor our maintenance activities, and produce daily and weekly summary reports on these activities.
Technical competence like no other

Having said so, the ideal candidate must be a degree holder with at least three years’ experience in the field. Likewise, you must possess a strong working knowledge of policies, building maintenance and people management. Proven expertise in the principles and techniques of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and general property management may also give you an edge in getting the job.
