Job summary

Smart Energy Water is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager in India with 8–12 years of experience to lead a cross-functional team of 60+ resources and oversee product delivery across SDLC.

The ideal candidate will drive delivery excellence, manage onshore and offshore teams, and ensure quality, risk control, and stakeholder satisfaction while traveling abroad as required.

Qualifications

• MBA/PG Diploma or BE/BTech (CS) from premier institute.
• 8+ years in business IT with delivery leadership.
• Experience in onsite/offshore delivery model.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery/implementation of products with a mid-sized technical and functional team.
• Define project SLAs, milestones, and schedules to deliver high-quality products.
• Handle change requests, compliance and risk management.
• Manage account utilization, margins and people in the account.
• Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams for solutions and development tasks.
• Provide design, solution, and code review support.
• Track project deliverables and report progress to stakeholders.
• Experience in product-based companies and DevOps practices.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; travel abroad as needed.

Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Delivery Manager with 8–12 years of experience who possesses excellent communication skills and is well-versed in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies. This position involves managing a cross-functional team of 60+ resources. The ideal candidate should be able to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly and have a strong understanding of products and product development.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing delivery/implementation of the product with mid-sized technical & functional team.
• Define Project SLAs, milestones, and schedule to deliver high quality product.
• Responsible for change request management, compliance and risk management.
• Responsible for account utilization, account margin and people management in the account (attrition management, resource planning, development of people etc.).
• Coordinate with other cross functional team members, both onshore and offshore for solutions and development tasks on projects.
• Allocate and define project tasks with the team and plan resource requirements as per scope and timelines.
• Provide direction and support to team by participating in design, solution, and code reviews.
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
• Prior experience in Product based company is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Dev-Ops engineering practices.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work well in teams and being a good individual as well as a team player.
• Must possess drive and energy to take new challenges and be flexible to work and travel abroad.
• Work experience in any of the following sectors is a plus - Energy & Utilities, Retail & Consumer Products, Public services, Manufacturing and Life Sciences.

Basic Qualifications:

• 8 - 12 years as Delivery Lead Managing Technical Product Development / Implementation.

Educational Qualifications:

MBA/Post Graduate Diploma or B.E./B.Tech (preferably in Computer Science) from a premier institute, with at least 8+ years of work experience for MBA candidates or 10+ years of work experience for B.E./B.Tech candidates.

• Proven Business and IT experience ideally supported with relevant professional qualifications.
• Experience working in an onsite/offshore delivery model.
