Job summary

Blue Yonder is seeking an experienced WMS consultant in India to lead functional configuration, integrations, and QA for complex warehouse management solutions. The role involves collaborating with project managers, product teams, and customer stakeholders to deliver value from implementation to go-live.

Applicants should have 3-8 years of corporate experience and a strong background in WMS products (JDA/RedPrairie). Travel readiness may be required based on client needs.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of corporate experience.
• Expertise in functional configuration of WMS product, Technical Integration, Quality Assurance, System Testing and Performance Tuning.
• Hands-on experience with technical configuration of WMS product (preferably JDA/RedPrairie WMS).
• Knowledge of interfaces between WMS and ERP/Host, TMS, WLM, TT, Parcel, 3rd party systems that integrate with WMS.
• Knowledge of integration between WMS and Voice / Material Handling / ASRS systems.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a technical liaison and attends key meetings between Project Manager, Solution Architects, customer contacts, and executives.
• Ensures knowledge transfer with key customer project team.
• Communicates business cases regarding customer needs related to product functionality and enhancements.
• Interacts with Product Management Group regarding new releases and communicates to the team.
• Works with Operate team to stabilize post go-live and realize value.
• Conducts functional analysis sessions to understand client needs and develops functional solutions.
• Provides functional support including QA, environment setup, software installation, configuration, report generation, operation consulting, troubleshooting, and testing.
• Responsible for services delivery of product implementation and related integration.
• Works as a senior member of a consulting team on product implementation, enhancement, managed services, integration, or custom projects.

Job description

Scope:

• Core responsibilities of implementation and possess strong domain knowledge in WMS solution to understand how the Blue Yonder solution can be configured and delivered to better facilitate customer business and technical processes
• Look at various angles of a Problem to identify the root cause to solve a Variety of problems. Promotes the same outlook in the Team.
• Volunteers for new challenges and eager to learn and challenge himself for new tasks as well build a network outside the immediate Team and encourage an atmosphere where team can thrive

What you ll do:

• Serves as a techncial liaison and attends and contributes to key meetings between Project Manager, Solution Architects, key customer contacts, and customer users, up to and including key executive project sponsors
• Ensures knowledge transfer is conducted with key customer project team
• Communicates business cases to PMG and PD regarding customer specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements
• Interacts with Product Management Group Product Development Team regarding new releases and new functionality and act as the liaison to communicate to the rest of the team
• Work with Operate team to make Customer Stable post go-live and venture towards value realization.
• Conducts functional analysis sessions with clients and/or the project team to understand the functional needs of the client and develops functional solutions to meet those needs.
• Provide variety of functional support to the project team; including quality assurance/design review, environment setup, software installation, configuration, report and label generation, operation consulting, troubleshooting, system testing programming.
• Responsible for services delivery of product implementation and related integration.
• Works as a senior member of a consulting team on product implementation, enhancement, managed services, integration, custom projects either at the customer site or offshore.

What we are looking for:

• 3-8 Years of corporate experience
• Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant discipline.
• Expertise in functional configuration of WMS product, Technical Integration, Quality Assurance, System Testing and Performance Tuning.
• Hands-on Experience on Technical configuration of WMS product (preferably JDA/RedPrairie WMS).
• Knowledge on interfaces between WMS and ERP/Host, TMS, WLM, TT, Parcel, 3rd party system that integrates with WMS.
• Knowledge on integration between WMS and Voice / Material Handling / ASRS systems
• In depth knowledge of resolving issues through Trace files.
• Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance.
• Excellent computer skills with in-depth knowledge of operating systems, client/server technology, ERP systems, Integration and Middleware technologies and applications
• Ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with customers, partners and consultants
• Strong proactive communicator and presenter, able to influence and collaborate at all levels of an organization to maximize problem resolution while effectively presenting information and responding to highly specialized functional questions

• Understanding and experience with the functional requirements for the product line assigned.
• Understanding of Database structures. Understanding of various functional platforms and infrastructures.
• Understands Blue Yonder product suite so as to convey relationships and touch-points to the customer.
• Works with appropriate parties to ensure issues are resolved.
• Travel readiness based on business needs.
