Job summary

Avaloq Group in Pune, India seeks an experienced ABS/PLSQL specialist to own complex software changes and act as a technical lead for solution design, code quality, change analysis, and team enablement.

Primary focus includes complex Avaloq Script and SQL/PLSQL design, ABS experience, and coaching for engineering standards, with a strong emphasis on performance, security, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Expert SQL/PLSQL and database design skills with strong maintainability and performance mindset.
• Expert ABS experience in relevant functional areas and integrations; regulated banking domain experience is a plus.
• German language skills are an advantage for workshops, change clarification, and cross-team alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical analysis and implementation of complex requirements, enhancements, and change initiatives.
• Design robust Avaloq Script and PL/SQL solutions and validate correctness, performance, security, maintainability, and delivery impact.
• Resolve complex implementation questions, manage trade-offs, and address quality findings from review and testing.
• Review code, database logic, test coverage, documentation, and technical designs.
• Facilitate technical clarification workshops, manage dependencies, and make well-reasoned delivery trade-offs.

Job Description

• Expert ABS experience across functional context, dependencies, integrations, and recurring change patterns.
• Coaching, code review, process analysis, delivery quality, and improvement of engineering standards.
