Job summary

Rexel India is seeking a skilled automation engineer to program, configure, and maintain Schneider Electric PLCs, drives, and servo systems across industrial projects. You will contribute to PLC, HMI, and SCADA execution, troubleshoot installations, and ensure robust industrial communication.

The role requires 3–6 years of experience with electrical/instrumentation background and hands-on expertise in Schneider components and protocols like Modbus and Ethernet/IP.

Qualifications

• Experience 3–6 years in industrial automation and electrical control systems.
• BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation engineering.
• Proficiency in PLC programming and industrial automation hardware.
• Knowledge of Schneider Electric PLCs, drives, HMI/SCADA systems and networking.
• Familiarity with Modbus, CANopen, Ethernet/IP protocols.

Responsibilities

• Program, configure, and maintain Schneider Electric PLCs, drives, and servo systems in automation projects.
• Execute automation projects including PLC, HMI, and SCADA development and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot and commission PLC-based automation systems and drives.
• Work with industrial communication protocols and ensure system reliability.

Role & Responsibilities –

Responsible for programming, configuring, and maintaining Schneider Electric PLCs, drives, and servo systems in industrial automation projects.

Key Skills:

• Execution of Automation Projects includes PLC, HMI, Scada.

• PLC programming (Modicon , M200 ,M221, M241, M340, M580 Preferable)

• VFD Troubleshooting and Programming (Altivar ATV12, ATV320, ATV630 , ATV930 Preferable)

• HMI development (EcoStruxure, Vijeo Designer , Operator Terminal)

• PLC Automation System troubleshooting and commissioning

• Knowledge of Modbus, CANopen, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP and other industrial communication protocols.

Tools & Software:

EcoStruxure Control Expert / Machine Expert Basic/ Aveva Plant Scada

Machine Expert / Vijeo Designer/ Operator Terminal expert
