The role requires translating complex requirements into actionable specs, leading data and API integrations, and ensuring compliant, scalable solutions across architecture and testing teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technical business analysis or related delivery roles in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of asset management, portfolio management, and investment processes.
• Proven ability to translate ambiguous requirements into actionable specifications and deliverables.

Job Title- Technical Business Analyst, Assistant Vice President

Location- Pune, India

Role Description

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with a proven track record of managing functional delivery of software applications with experience in Asset management Domain. You will be a key conduit between the business stakeholders and technology team while working closely across architecture, testing, and platform teams to solve real business challenges and deliver reliable & scalable solutions. As a senior member of the team, you will not only translate requirements into delivery-ready outcomes, but also help raise the quality of analysis, improve ways of working, and support a culture where people learn from each other and succeed together.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of complex business, data, and regulatory requirements, translating stakeholder priorities into practical, value-driven solutions.
• Develop clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and decision records that support efficient, compliant delivery.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate business outcomes into actionable technical specifications.
• Lead integration analysis and validation across APIs, batch interfaces, messaging, XML, JSON, and other structured data formats.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen controls, reduce manual effort, and improve solution transparency, stability, and scalability.
• Support deployments and post-go-live stabilisation through issue analysis, RCA, stakeholder communication, and resolution coordination.
• Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team.

Your Skills And Experience

• 8+ years’ experience in technical business analysis, product analysis, or project delivery, including significant experience in Asset Management or Financial Services technology.
• Strong knowledge of portfolio management, asset classes, and investment processes.
• Proven ability to clarify ambiguity, challenge requirements constructively, manage scope, and drive actions through to completion.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across international business and technology teams.
• Hands‑on experience with data analysis, SQL, complex data models, and data-driven solution design; Snowflake experience is desirable.
• Experience analysing and implementing integrations, including APIs, batch interfaces, XML, JSON, and related data formats.
• Strong knowledge of Agile delivery, governance, testing, release processes, and documentation standards in regulated environments.
• Demonstrates ownership, professional maturity, and a commitment to improving outcomes, standards, and collaboration.

Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
