CIMMYT (International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center) via the Borlaug Institute for South Asia (BISA) seeks a Technical Assistant for the Madhya Pradesh CRA project, based in Narshinghpur and Newari districts. The role involves participatory trials, field demonstrations, data collection, and timely reporting to the Project Coordinator.
Minimum qualification is a Bachelor’s in Agriculture with 2 years’ experience, plus knowledge of crop production techniques and fluency in Hindi and English.
The Borlaug Institute for South Asia (BISA) is a non-profit international research institute dedicated to food, nutrition, and livelihood security as well as environmental rehabilitation in South Asia, which is home to more than 300 million undernourished people. The positions will be based in Narshinghpur and Newari districts in Madhya Pradesh.

The position is for an initial fixed-term contract of 1 year with annual renewal subject to performance. Thereafter, the contract would be renewed based on overall performance and the continued availability of funds.
