Job summary

HeadSpin is seeking an experienced Technical Architect to lead ongoing and modernization efforts across flagship Evolving Systems products. You will own architecture decisions, drive reliability, and guide migrations from legacy Java/C++ stacks to modern frameworks while maintaining backward compatibility.

The role requires deep expertise in Java, C++, Tcl, databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL), and DevSecOps with a track record of delivering scalable, secure enterprise platforms.

You will serve as the technical architect across flagship Evolving Systems' products, ensuring continued reliability while leading their evolution to modern technology stacks.

You are expert in domain of service provisioning and order orchestration. You are expert in older Java technologies such as Java Swing and equally have mastery of new Java technologies. You have worked on C++ and related technologies such as Pro*C.

You have deep understanding of workings on databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.

You have flair of DevSecOps and know how to implement the DevSecOps process and select tools for the same.

What You Will Be Doing

Technical Architect

Serve as the Technical Architect across flagship Evolving Systems products

Product Maintenance & Operational Excellence

• Investigate and resolve complex production and customer-reported issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain product reliability, scalability, performance, and security.

Technology Modernisation

• Define and execute the technical modernization roadmap for the flagship products in your scope.
• Execute migration from legacy technologies to modern frameworks, architectures, and development practices.
• Evaluate and implement improvements in automation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and security.

Expert Developer

• Fix reported issue and bugs using your hands on Java expertise
• Blend expertise of C++ developer to fix reported issue and bugs
• Set up process and tools for DevSecOps
• Use your understanding of behaviour of database and inner working of products to improve its performance.
• Master Tcl and its inner working in the scope of the products.

Qualifications & Experience
