Job summary

Impetus is seeking a Senior AI Architect to lead enterprise-scale AI design and deployment of cutting-edge solutions. You will shape AI strategy, mentor engineering teams, and drive value across business units using generative AI, LLMs, and Retrieval Augmented Generation on AWS.

You will partner with product, data science, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end AI architectures, ensure security and governance, and present roadmaps to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• 15–19 years of overall technology experience with at least 5 years in AI/ML architecture
• Proven track record deploying generative AI solutions using LLMs and RAG techniques
• Deep expertise in AWS AI/ML services (SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, S3, IAM)
• Strong programming in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face)
• Understanding of data engineering, feature stores, MLOps, CI/CD, and AI pipeline monitoring
• Ability to define architecture standards, patterns, and governance for large environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence executive leadership
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field

Responsibilities

• Architect and own the design of enterprise AI solutions focusing on generative AI, LLMs, and RAG pipelines
• Define and maintain AI/ML architecture standards, best practices, and governance models
• Collaborate with product, data science, engineering, and DevOps to translate requirements into scalable architectures
• Lead end-to-end delivery on AWS covering data ingestion, training, deployment, monitoring, and improvement
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and provide strategic adoption recommendations
• Mentor cross-functional teams on AI architecture, coding standards, and cloud practices
• Ensure security, compliance, performance, and cost optimization across AI workloads
• Present architecture roadmaps to executives highlighting value and ROI
• Drive POCs and pilots to validate approaches and accelerate innovation
• Create architecture documentation, playbooks and knowledge-sharing resources

• .Deep expertise in AWS services relevant to AI/ML (SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, etc.)
• .Strong programming proficiency in Python and experience with ML/AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers)
• .Comprehensive understanding of data engineering, feature stores, MLOps, CI/CD, and monitoring for AI pipelines
• .Demonstrated ability to define architecture standards, patterns, and best practices in large, complex environments
• .Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, with experience influencing executive leadership
• .Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field

• :Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow)
• .Familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud strategies (Azure, GCP) in AI deployments
