Transgraph Consulting is seeking a Technical Analyst to perform extensive research on commodity supply-demand and price dynamics, building forecast models for local and global markets. The role emphasizes strong analytical capabilities, forecast modeling, and data-driven insights to support price consultancy services.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in commodity or financial markets, with expertise in Elliott Wave Analysis, and will work in Hyderabad at our Hyderabad location.

The Research Analyst would be required to perform extensive research on the supply-demand-price of select commodities on a local and global basis and build several forecast models based on the collected information. To be successful in this role, the Analyst will be expected to demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, forecast modeling, and the ability to critically analyze data in an efficient manner.

Technical analysts are required to support our Price Consultancy Services. Price consultancy services are aimed at serving various corporate houses/individuals exposed to price risk in the commodity segment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Helping the RM to form a price outlook backed up with strong analytics.
• Improving the depth of research and quality of content in reports.
• Participate in Weekly team meetings along with EM on price outlook.
• Maintaining a trading strike rate of >70%; procurement savings of >2% over the market average.
• Bringing out research innovations.
• Bringing new research methodologies.
• Ensure maintenance of the price database.
• Bring out the results from studies/analysis which would help the team in framing the report content

Desired Profile

• Experience working in commodity, equity, or financial markets is preferred.
• Experience in Price forecasting for short, medium, and long term.
• Independent call-taking capability.
• Excellent in Mother Chart analysis, Elliott Wave, MetaStock, and crowd behavior.
• Beginner in Gann analytics, Financial Astrology, and MetaStock programming.
• Exposure to multi-technical analysis software.
• Experience in using Elliott Wave Analysis is mandatory.
• Experience in directly serving external corporate clients located in India or abroad is considered an added advantage.
• Sound knowledge of derivative markets and related concepts is preferred.
• Flexible and able to meet the changing demands of the services.
• Good communication skills, written and verbal.
• Proactive, self-reliant, and effective within a team Environment.
• Proficiency in using the software products related to technical analysis and MS Office.
