Job summary

EY seeks a Solution Architect – Technology Strategy & Transformation with 8+ years of IT experience to design scalable, cloud-native and digital solutions. You will partner with business and technology teams to define target architectures, drive strategy, and support large transformation programs.

You will lead architecture design, evaluate vendors, and guide cross-functional teams across platforms, data, security, and cloud services, ensuring governance and best practices for enterprise

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with 2-3 years architecting complex digital or cloud-native solutions.
• Hands on experience across application, data, integration, cloud, and security architectures.
• Expertise in distributed systems, microservices, containerized platforms, and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures.
• Strong programming background in Java, .NET, JavaScript, Python, or C++, with SQL/NoSQL and analytics.
• Experience with API integration and integration platforms like MuleSoft.
• Proficiency with cloud services (GCP preferred, AWS or Azure ok).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD, and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define end to end solution architectures for client engagements and enterprise systems.
• Advise on digital, integration, cloud, data, AI, and security technologies for transformation.
• Lead architecture design, PoCs, vendor evaluations, and technology selection.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and security teams to implement target architectures.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards and governance.
• Communicate architecture decisions clearly to business and IT stakeholders.

Description

A solution Architecture role for professionals with 8+ years of experience (Senior 3) in designing and delivering scalable, cloud native and digital solutions. The Solution Architect partners with business and technology teams to define target architectures, drive technology strategy, and support complex transformation initiatives across enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Define end to end solution architectures for client engagements, platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Advise on digital, integration, cloud, data, AI, and emerging technologies for business transformation.
• Lead architecture design, feasibility analysis, PoCs, vendor evaluations, and technology selection.
• Collaborate with engineering, platform, data, and security teams to implement target architectures.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards, patterns, governance, and best practices.
• Communicate architecture decisions and solution approaches clearly to business and IT stakeholders.

Qualifications

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, or related fields.

Technical Expertise

• 8+ years of IT experience with 2-3 years architecting complex digital or cloud-native solutions.
• Hands on experience across application, data, integration, cloud, and security architectures.
• Expertise in distributed systems, microservices, containerized platforms, and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures.
• Strong programming background in any one language like Java, .NET, JavaScript, Python, C++, with experience in SQL/NoSQL, big data, analytics, and modern security standards.
• Expertise in integration platforms like Mulesoft and must have API integration experience
• Skilled in DevSecOps, CI/CD, containers, Agile delivery, and event-driven/streaming architectures.
• Providing Technical guidance to project team triaging production issues for any architecture/design issues
• Proficiency with GCP (preferred), AWS or Azure cloud-native services across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.

Digital & Cloud Skills

• Ability to architect modern digital applications, APIs, micro frontends, and cloud-native platforms.
• Experience with modern UI technologies and lightweight backend frameworks.
• Skilled in cloud-native deployments and automated delivery pipelines.

Data, Security & Integration

• Experience designing data platforms, analytics solutions, streaming pipelines, and caching architectures.
• Strong grounding in identity, access management, authentication/authorization, and enterprise security patterns.

AI & Emerging Technologies

• Exposure to AI/ML tools and experience applying AI capabilities in transformation initiatives.
• Understanding of modern AI/ML architecture patterns and integration approaches.

Consulting & Leadership

• Ability to translate business needs into technical architectures and guide senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills across global and distributed teams.

Certifications (Preferred)

• GCP experience is preferred; however, exposure to Azure or AWS is considered an added advantage.
• Additional certifications such as CISSP, ITIL, SAFe, PMI, CEH, etc.
• Knowledge in US Healthcare domain.
