Role

We are hiring a hands-on Tech Lead / Vibe Coder to architect and deliver scalable data engineering solutions using Python and Databricks. The role combines technical leadership, stakeholder engagement, and daily use of AI-assisted development workflows to build reliable ingestion, transformation, validation, and monitoring systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions, architecture planning, estimations, and delivery for data engineering projects.
• Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data processing systems using Python and Databricks.
• Use AI-assisted tools (copilots, agents, automation) for coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and delivery.
• Integrate data from APIs, databases, files, and external systems; work with structured and unstructured datasets.
• Implement monitoring, observability, performance optimization, and validation for data workflows.
• Establish and follow CI/CD and deployment best practices; own end-to-end solution delivery.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with product teams, analysts, and clients; manage stakeholder expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (4 years) or higher in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in Python-based software or data engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and large-scale data processing frameworks.
• Solid understanding of distributed data processing, data modeling, performance optimization, and ETL/ELT design.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, monitoring/observability, and API/data integrations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring abilities.
• Bangalore domicile preferred; role is in-person.
