ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in leading complex Integration projects using low-code/no-code platforms such as Workato, Boomi, Talend or similar tools.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and leading integration solutions across various systems and platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability. In addition to hands‑on development, you will provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, guiding best practices and fostering a culture of engineering excellence. This role offers the opportunity to influence architectural decisions, collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, and drive continuous improvement across the development process.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Contribute to all stages of software development lifecycle.
• Analyze user requirements to define business objectives.
• Envision system features and functionality.
• Identify and resolve any technical issues arising.
• Involvement in story creation, requirements, and design for new features and improvements.
• Delivery of new features and bug tickets.
• Write and maintain code in a fast‑paced, quality‑focused environment.
• Help identify defects, issues, and risks within the software system.
• Work closely and proactively with the product teams to determine the best way to increase the quality of the product.
• Keep up to date with the latest technology trends and releases.
• Collaborate with product managers and architects to build and deploy world‑class software.
• Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the design and implementation of integration solutions across cloud and on‑premise systems.
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs, GraphQL, file‑based transfers, and streaming technologies like Kafka or equivalent.
• Work hands‑on with low‑code/no‑code integration platforms (Boomi, Talend, MuleSoft, Workato, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Ensure best practices in integration architecture, security, and performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership within the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and integration trends.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in integration development using tools like Workato (preferred), Talend, MuleSoft, Workato, or similar.
• Strong understanding of API design and management, including REST, GraphQL.
• Experience in designing and developing data pipelines (ETL/ELT) with complex transformation and enrichment rules.
• Experience with event‑driven architectures and streaming platforms like Apache Kafka.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud‑native integration patterns.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and software development best practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Certifications in any of the integration platforms (e.g., Workato, Boomi Professional Developer, MuleSoft Certified Developer).
• Experience with Java development and corresponding frameworks is a plus.
• Hospitality services domain experience is a plus.
