Genpact Bengaluru seeks a Tech Lead - Application Development to drive backend systems with C#, .NET, REST APIs and frontend work with Angular/React. Job Description

In this role, the candidate is supposed to possess deep expertise in backend development using C#, .NET, Web API/REST API, Angular/React, ASP.NET MVC, MS SQL Server and experience building microservices in a cloud-native environment. The ideal candidate will also have functional proficiency with React for web-based front-end development.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.
• Lead end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities, including requirements gathering, architecture, development, testing, deployment and support.
• Architect and develop robust backend services using .NET Framework/Core.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using Angular/React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices and cloud-based solutions.
• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions.
• Drive code quality through code reviews, design reviews and adherence to industry best practices.
• Mentor and guide development teams, fostering technical growth and continuous improvement.
• Lead modernization and migration initiatives from legacy applications to modern cloud-native architectures.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and automated testing strategies.
• Ensure application security, performance optimization, scalability, and reliability.
• Having a good knowledge of Grafana.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business information systems (IS), computer science or related field, or equivalent-related IT experience.
• Preferred Skills: Programming Languages JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, C#, SQL.
• Backend Technologies: .NET Framework, .NET Core / .NET 8+, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, RESTful Services, Microservices Architecture.
• Frontend Technologies: Angular/React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Responsive Web Design.
• Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, Redis.
• Cloud & DevOps: Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, ServiceNow.
• CI/CD Pipelines; Tools & Methodologies: Git, Agile/Scrum, Unit Testing, TDD, Design Patterns, Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Certifications: AZ-204: Microsoft Azure Developer Associate, ISTQB Certified Tester, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate, Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 8 Programmer I.
