Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking a Teamcenter Developer to handle data migration and loading for large datasets across cloud environments. The role requires hands-on experience with Teamcenter data models, workflows, and exchange formats, and a proven ability to automate migration tasks.

Ideal candidates will have strong scripting skills, experience with PLM data migration tools, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to ensure a smooth data cutover.

Qualifications

• Experience in data migration projects, preferably Teamcenter non-CAD data.
• Solid understanding of Teamcenter data model, workflows, and configurations.
• Excellent understanding of Teamcenter data exchange formats.
• Experience with PLMXML, CSV2XML, TCXML for large data loads.
• Strong knowledge of data migration concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience loading data in Teamcenter in cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Teamcenter data migration tools including site consolidation tools.
• Experience with data loading and validation techniques.
• Scripting for automating migration processes; strong communication with stakeholders.
• Certifications in data management or PLM are advantageous.
• Experience with large scale data loading with minimal cutover time.
• Automation of data migration execution with validation steps.

Responsibilities

• Lead data migration projects for Teamcenter.
• Load non-CAD data and files using Teamcenter data loading tools.
• Validate migrated data against specifications.
• Collaborate with data owners and IT teams.
• Develop automation scripts to accelerate migrations.
• Ensure minimal cutover time during data migration.
• Document processes and provide status reports.

Experience : 4-15 Years

• Experience in data migration projects, preferably in a Teamcenter data loading for Non-CAD data and files
• Solid understanding of Teamcenter data model, workflows, and configurations
• Excellent understanding of Teamcenter data exchange formats
• Good experience with PLMXML, CSV2XML, TCXML to load the data into teamcenter for large data
• Solid understanding of data migration concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Working experience in data loading in teamcenter in cloud environments
• Proficiency in Teamcenter data migration tools and utilities including Site consolidation tools and processes
• Experience with data loading and validation techniques.
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automating migration processes. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications in data management or PLM are advantageous Have experience with large scale data loading with teamcenter with minimal cutover time
