Job summary

Responsibilities

• Sampling & analysis of water samples and preparation of water reports.
• Maintenance and records of microbiological reference cultures, GLP maintenance and compliance, prepare trends of water analysis and environment monitoring.
• Preparation of laboratory reagents, disinfectants, indicators and volumetric solutions.
• Isolation and identification of reference cultures, and environmental and water isolates.
• Media preparation, growth promotion tests, autoclave operation, and maintenance of relevant documents.
• Biological indicator stock maintenance and spore enumeration study.

Qualification & Experience

• Educational qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field
• Minimum work experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in microbiological analysis, preferably in a laboratory setting related to water quality
