Job summary

A leading chemical manufacturer in Andhra Pradesh is seeking individuals with strong proficiency in Microbiology and Engineering principles to manage process equipment and ensure compliance with cGMP regulations. Successful candidates will excel in problem-solving, documentation, and have experience with packaging equipment. This role involves operation of various systems and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and turnaround of all process equipment in downstream.
• Perform COP, CIP, and SIP for all equipment.
• Foam cleaning and washing with cleaning chemicals as needed.
• Operation of mixed bed, chromatographic systems, and Spray Dryer.
• Write and review standard operating procedures.
• Initiate deviations and solve problems as needed.
• Document and maintain activity records according to regulations.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Set up and turnaround of all process equipment in downstream. Calculation of productivity yield (including losses).
2. Able to perform COP, CIP and SIP as per the schedule and whenever necessary for all equipment.
3. Foam cleaning and washing with cleaning chemicals of Manufacturing area as per schedule or whenever necessary.
4. Operation of mixed bed, chromatographic / SSMB (Simulated Sequential Moving Bed), Polish Bed systems, multiple effect evaporation and Spray Dryer.
5. Write and review standard operating procedures and batch production records.
6. Initiates deviations as needed, reporting and solving problems and issues.
7. Document and maintain activity records according to cGMP regulations and ensure other team members are trained.
8. Operate general production equipment such as Analytical Scales, pH/conductivity meters, etc.
