Job summary

Autoprint India in Coimbatore is seeking an Assembly Engineer to join our manufacturing team. You will contribute to assembling high-quality machinery in line with production schedules and specifications.

Ideal candidates read engineering drawings, operate drilling and tapping tools, and ensure accuracy in sub-assemblies and final assemblies. You will collaborate with the team to meet daily and weekly targets while upholding quality standards.

Qualifications

• Technical education in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Diploma/ITI preferred).
• Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics.
• Experience in mechanical assembly and machine operation.
• Familiarity with quality standards in manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing and assembly tasks per production schedules and specifications.
• Operate tools and machinery such as drilling and tapping.
• Ensure accuracy and precision in sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
• Read and interpret technical and engineering drawings.

• Manufacturing & Assembly: Execute mechanical assembly tasks as per production schedules and specifications
  
• Machine Operation: Operate tools and machinery such as drilling, tapping, and other mechanical tooling equipment
  
• Quality Control: Ensure accuracy and precision in sub-assemblies and final assemblies
  
• Engineering Drawings: Read and interpret technical and engineering drawings for effective assembly execution
  
• Production Planning: Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly production targets
  
• Inventory Management: Assist in managing tools, components, and consumables required for assembly operations
  

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile
