Job summary

Paytm Payments Services in Bengaluru is seeking a field sales leader to drive QR & Soundbox adoption among merchants. The role centers on expanding distribution, leading a sales team, and hitting growth targets across Karnataka.

You will grow merchant reach, recruit and mentor a team, and travel extensively to ensure coverage and success in the market. A Graduate degree and strong leadership are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Grow distribution and market share in the assigned area of operations.
• Increase QR & Soundbox deployment and sales to merchants.
• Identify and recruit a sales team and drive business growth in the market.
• Coach and mentor team members; quickly learn and apply new ideas and concepts.
• Plan market size, span and geographies for the field sales executive (FSE).
• Communicate plans and targets effectively to minimize delivery gaps.
• Monitor quality parameters as directed by management.
• Validate acquisitions and sales audits performed by the team.
• Ensure the team actively covers the market where sales and usage occur, with extensive travel.

About the role:

The person should be capable of increasing the sale of QR & Soundbox through proper channels to the merchants across multiple locations.

Expectations/ Requirements:

• Grow Distribution and Market share in the assigned area of operations.
• Visibility Accountability through Extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sale of the product.
• Identify and Recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
• Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application new learned ideas and concepts.
• Plan the market size, span and geographies for FSE.
• Should be able to devise the best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team so as to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap.
• Monitor the Quality parameters as suggested by the management.
• Validate and conduct the audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.
• Ensure the team members are in the market where sales & usage are done regularly 10. Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout their specified area.
