Paytm is seeking a dynamic Team Leader to drive EDC device sales under the Oil & Gas vertical in Patna, India. You will manage a field sales team, scale merchant onboarding, and push transaction volumes.

The role focuses on deploying EDC/Micro POS devices at petrol pumps and distributors, building channel partnerships, and ensuring targets are met through ground execution. Graduate with 3+ years in channel sales, strong leadership, and POS/EDC sales experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate required; post-graduation preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of channel sales experience.
• Experience leading field sales teams.
• Knowledge of merchant onboarding, incentives, and field ops.
• Experience in POS/EDC device sales preferred.
• Familiar with metrics-based sales tracking and incentive planning.

• Lead and manage a field sales team of 5+ members.

About the Role :

We're looking for a dynamic Team Leader to drive EDC device sales under the Oil & Gas vertical. You will be responsible for managing a team of field executives, driving distribution, and ensuring consistent growth in merchant onboarding and transaction volumes.

Key Responsibilities :

• 1. Lead and manage a field sales team of 5 or more members
• 2. Drive EDC machine sales and deployment in the oil & gas sector (e.g., petrol pumps, distributors, etc.)
• 3. Build and maintain strong channel partner relationships
• 4. Ensure target achievement through proper team coordination and ground execution
• 5. Monitor daily productivity, quality of acquisitions, and incentive earnings
• 6. Train, guide, and motivate team to perform and scale
• 7. Analyze market trends and competitor activities
• 8. Regular reporting and MIS handling using Excel and sales tools

Requirements / Expectations :

• 1. Must have a smartphone, bike, and helmet
• 2. Minimum 3 years of experience in channel sales & distribution
• 3. Proven experience in leading field sales teams
• 4. Strong knowledge of merchant onboarding, incentives, and field sales operations
• 5. Experience in POS/EDC device sales will be preferred
• 6. Familiar with metrics-based sales tracking and incentive planning

Education :

Graduate (mandatory); Post-Graduation preferred
