IFF is a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences. The Hyderabad-based hybrid role will lead the Accounts Payable Invoice Processing function, guiding a team of AP professionals to ensure accurate processing, timely payments, and strong controls.

You will drive performance, partner with cross-functional teams, and contribute to continuous improvements in automation and process optimization.

Competenze

• 10+ years in end-to-end Accounts Payable operations.
• Hands-on SAP and AP processes including GR/IR, bank clearing, vendor management, and month-end close.
• 2+ years of people management leading large, distributed teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify gaps and drive improvements.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.

We are now seeking a highly motivated and results driven individual to join our Finance – Accounts Payable Invoice Processing function as Team Leader.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

• Lead and coordinate daily Accounts Payable operations, ensuring smooth workflow management and adherence to established policies, procedures, and controls.
• Oversee timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, and month-end reconciliations while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
• Reconcile Accounts Payable accounts, investigate discrepancies, resolve issues promptly, and keep relevant stakeholders informed of significant matters.
• Maintain, update, and communicate Accounts Payable procedures, standards, policies, and process documentation to ensure operational consistency.
• Monitor exceptions, duplicate payments, escalations, and aged transactions; drive timely resolution and review performance metrics to improve service delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource utilization, support audits and projects, and serve as a subject matter expert for Accounts Payable processes.
• Analyze operational metrics, identify automation opportunities, and contribute to continuous process improvements that enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Deliver excellent stakeholder support through effective verbal and written communication, responsiveness to business needs, and a customer-focused approach in diverse environments.
• Consistently achieve agreed service levels, productivity, quality, and turnaround-time targets while contributing to knowledge sharing, team collaboration, and organizational success.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with 10+ years of experience in end-to-end Accounts Payable operations.
• Extensive hands-on experience with SAP and Accounts Payable processes, including invoice processing, GR/IR reconciliation, bank clearing, vendor management, and month-end close activities.
• Proven people management experience(2+ years) with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, including managing large, geographically dispersed teams.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process gaps, drive operational excellence, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively partner with business leaders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, along with the ability to leverage data and metrics for decision-making and performance reporting.
• Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, support changing business requirements, drive cross-skilling initiatives, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
