Job summary

Paytm is seeking a dynamic Team Leader to drive EDC device sales under the Oil & Gas vertical. You will manage a field sales team, drive distribution, and ensure growth in merchant onboarding and transaction volumes.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 3 years in channel sales, proven leadership, and strong channel relationships. Willingness to travel and manage on-ground teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Familiar with metrics-based sales tracking and incentive planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a field sales team of 5 or more members.
• Drive EDC machine sales and deployment in the oil & gas sector (petrol pumps, distributors).
• Build and maintain strong channel partner relationships.
• Ensure target achievement through team coordination and ground execution.
• Monitor daily productivity, quality of acquisitions, and incentive earnings.
• Train, guide, and motivate team to perform and scale.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities.
• Regular reporting and MIS handling using Excel and sales tools.

About the Role:

We're looking for a dynamic Team Leader to drive EDC device sales under the Oil & Gas vertical. You will be responsible for managing a team of field executives, driving distribution, and ensuring consistent growth in merchant onboarding and transaction volumes.

Key Responsibilities :

1. 1. Lead and manage a field sales team of 5 or more members
2. 2. Drive EDC machine sales and deployment in the oil & gas sector (e.g., petrol pumps, distributors, etc.)
3. 3. Build and maintain strong channel partner relationships
4. 4. Ensure target achievement through proper team coordination and ground execution
5. 5. Monitor daily productivity, quality of acquisitions, and incentive earnings
6. 6. Train, guide, and motivate team to perform and scale
7. 7. Analyze market trends and competitor activities
8. 8. Regular reporting and MIS handling using Excel and sales tools

Requirements / Expectations :

1. 1. Must have a smartphone, bike, and helmet
2. 2. Minimum 3 years of experience in channel sales & distribution
3. 3. Proven experience in leading field sales teams
4. 4. Strong knowledge of merchant onboarding, incentives, and field sales operations
5. 5. Experience in POS/EDC device sales will be preferred
6. 6. Familiar with metrics-based sales tracking and incentive planning

Education :

Graduate (mandatory); Post-Graduation preferred
