Himalaya Wellness Company is looking for a Team Lead – International Regulatory Affairs in Bengaluru. This role will oversee regulatory strategies and manage a regulatory team focused on GCC, Africa, and Middle East markets. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in regulatory affairs, particularly in herbal and food supplement products, and demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.

Key responsibilities include leading regulatory execution, mentoring team members, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. A background in life sciences or regulatory affairs is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in regulatory affairs for herbal, Ayurvedic, or food supplement products.
• Proven experience in handling GCC, Africa, and Middle East markets.
• Prior team leadership experience with a minimum of 2 direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end regulatory strategy and execution for herbal products in GCC, Africa, and Middle East.
• Manage and mentor a team of at least 2 regulatory professionals.
• Review and approve dossiers, product registrations, and compliance documentation.

Job Title: Team Lead – International Regulatory Affairs

Department: International Regulatory Affairs

Role Purpose

To lead regulatory and dossier compilation activities for herbal and food supplement products across key international markets, with a focus on GCC, Africa, and the Middle East. The role involves managing a small regulatory team, driving compliance strategies, and ensuring timely product registrations and lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end regulatory strategy and execution for herbal and food supplement products in GCC, Africa, and Middle East markets
• Manage and mentor a team of at least 2 regulatory professionals, ensuring delivery excellence and capability development
• Review and approve dossiers, product registrations, renewals, variations, and compliance documentation
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and hub teams to ensure smooth approvals and market access
• Monitor and interpret regulatory changes across target markets and proactively assess business impact
• Ensure compliance with local regulations for labeling, ingredients, claims, and product classification
• Support new product development (NPD) with regulatory inputs during formulation and commercialization stages
• Drive harmonization of regulatory processes and documentation across regions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, quality, legal, and commercial teams

Qualifications

• M.Pharm / M.Sc. (Regulatory Affairs, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences or related discipline preferred)
• Additional certifications in regulatory affairs are an advantage

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in regulatory affairs for herbal, Ayurvedic, or food supplement products
• Proven experience in handling GCC, Africa, and Middle East markets (mandatory)
• Prior team leadership experience (minimum 2 direct reports)
• Experience in a herbal, nutraceutical, strongly preferred
