Job summary

Instahire in Bangalore seeks a Team Lead - Data Intelligence to guide a data analytics team and own end-to-end analytics lifecycle, including model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring.

You will drive advanced analytics, ML projects, and data visualization with Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik, translating business needs into measurable KPIs and actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 812 years of experience in data science roles, 2+ years of experience in leading or mentoring teams.
• Candidates must have 23 years of people management/team handling experience. – Minimum 10 to 15 members.
• Strong communication skills are mandatory.
• Expert level in Microsoft Fabric.
• Advanced SQL skills including complex query design, performance tuning, and stored procedure development.
• Exposure in cloud-based solutions and Machine Learning.
• Strong programming skills in Python / R; Experience with ML libraries: scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Expertise in: Time-series analysis, Forecasting models, Anomaly detection, NLP etc.
• Experience with Power BI / Tableau / Qlik; Strong knowledge of data wrangling, feature engineering, and model optimization.
• Strong knowledge of relational and dimensional modeling; ability to translate business processes into entities, facts, dimensions, and KPIs.
• Strong experience in end-to-end AI/ML lifecycle management, including model development, validation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement, aligned with structured workflows used in analytics and CoE initiatives.
• Hands-on exposure to MLOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a data intelligence team of 10–15 members.
• Own end-to-end data science lifecycle from development to deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with CoE analytics initiatives and stakeholders.
• Translate business problems into analytical models and KPIs.
• Create and maintain visual dashboards using Power BI/Tableau/Qlik.
