Job summary

Perit AI (YC F26) is seeking an AI Annotation Team Lead to steer its data annotation efforts. This hands-on leadership role combines active annotation work with team oversight to deliver high-quality outputs.

You will review deliverables, mentor up to 50 annotators, and balance throughput with quality in a fast-paced environment, including extended hours and occasional Saturdays.

Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive AI Annotation Team Lead to lead our data annotation team while actively contributing to the annotation process.

This is a hands-on role that requires performing word alignment and annotation, along with ensuring high-quality output, reviewing team deliverables, and maintaining productivity across the team.

Key responsibilities:

• 4 hours hands on reviewing, alignment, rating and annotation
• 6 hours quality assurance, coaching, mentoring

Deliverables

- Team should meet daily throughput within quality metrics

Must be capable of leading up to 50 people, taking ownership of team quality, throughput, coaching, and results, working flexible or extended hours (including Saturdays), and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while driving team performance.
