Cell Material Team – Team Lead: Electrode & Stack Design

Responsibilities:

• Define loadings, thickness, porosity; current collector specs; jelly‑roll/stacking parameters.
• Optimize electrolyte, separator selection, and formation protocols with R&D/process.
• Design cell can/pouch/prismatic, tabs, sealing; support safety/abuse testing.
• Run DoE, track cycle life/impedance; publish CTQs, control plans, and design specs.

Educational Background

• B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Computer/Instrumentation or related.
• M.E./M.Tech./MS preferred for advanced roles; PhD a plus for R&D.

Work Experience

• 8+ years in Li-ion cell design/formulation or close collaboration with cell OEMs.
• Cell qualification & failure analysis.
