Job summary

Medline India is seeking a Team Lead for BI Engineering to guide data engineering initiatives, architecture, and analytics delivery. You will lead a multi-location team, drive Fabric-based data frameworks, and ensure high availability across Azure services.

Responsibilities include L2/L3 support for Fabric/Azure/Talend, process optimization, and coaching team members. Strong design and leadership skills are essential in this enterprise setup in Pune.

Qualifications

• Strong 10+ years of IT experience with application lifecycle management.
• Minimum 4 yrs of experience in SaS Platform / Azure infrastructure management.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Data Engineering, Lakehouse, Pipelines, Semantic Models) and medallion architecture.
• Hands-on experience in Python, Databricks, Spark SQL / PySpark, strong SQL skills and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience in Spark, Delta Lake, notebooks, job orchestration.
• Experience with ADLS Gen2, Delta Parquet, ADF or Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Experience in Server / Application Performance Tuning and Optimization, and in depth understanding of server infrastructure and lifecycle management.

• Manage stakeholder relationships across multi-role, multi-location technical teams, overseeing priority issues, daily operations, capacity, performance, and production support
• Design, implement and improve frameworks for Medallion Data Engineering in Microsoft Fabric
• Lead teams providing L2, and L3 support for Fabric, Azure, Talend, Tibco, SAP HANA, Qlik, and SLT applications
• Monitor and enhance system availability and KPI adherence
• Guide process improvements and ensure operational excellence
• Plan and execute support schedules, application patching, installation, configuration, and upgrades
• Drive team performance for timely and accurate delivery
• Identify training needs, provide coaching, and recognize achievements
• Identify automation and improvement opportunities across our data platforms
