Job description

The Post Graduate Program in Development Management (PGP DM) is ISDM’s flagship initiative designed by leading academics and practitioners from both the development and management sectors. The yearlong program blends ideas of development with concepts of management, combines in-class sessions with a two-week field component on “Realizing India” and promotes collaborative group work.

Purpose of Role

The work broadly revolves around in-person and online activities related to a course under PGP DM, including course development, course delivery, curating course materials, LMS support, data analytics, engaging all current and potential stakeholders, shaping content and fulfilling all related activities. This is a course based engagement with attachment to a specific faculty over the time period of teaching from course development to course grading.

Teaching Assistant Job Responsibilities

• Works under the supervision of a course faculty
• Classroom management and attend all the lectures
• Helping the faculty with grading, curating course materials and other logistics
• Conducting office hours and discussion sessions to help students understand the ideas and concepts introduced in the course, develop problem solving skills and, in general, enlarge the intellectual imagination of the students

Education and Experience Requirements

Masters Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline within Social Science, Liberal Arts or Business Management with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
