Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in test automation framework development/maintenance
• Deep hands-on coding skills with Java or another programming language
• Ability to automate APIs using RestAssured or Karate
• Hands-on web automation using Selenium WebDriver
• CI/CD experience with GitHub and Jenkins
• Experience with Cucumber and TestNG
• Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle/Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra)
• Debugging and root-cause analysis for test failures
• Performance testing experience with JMeter is a plus
• Playwright with TypeScript or Cypress experience is desirable
• Mobile app testing with Appium is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts
• Automate API tests using RestAssured or Karate
• Create robust web automation using Selenium WebDriver
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines with GitHub and Jenkins
• Use Cucumber and TestNG to organize and run tests
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases for test data and validation
• Debug and troubleshoot test failures to identify root causes
• Incorporate performance testing with JMeter where applicable
• Explore Playwright (TypeScript) or Cypress for frontend testing
• Carry out mobile app testing and automation with Appium

• Relevant Work Experience in Test automation framework development/maintenance
• Hands-on experience to develop web automation using selenium web driver
• Hands-on CI/CD experience in Github, Jenkins

• Should have knowledge about RDBMS (Oracle/Postgres) and non relational database system (Cassandra/MongoDB)
• Debugging and troubleshooting: Ability to effectively debug test failures and identify the root cause of issues in the application or test script.
• Good to have Performance Testing experience with JMeter
• Good to have Playwright with TypeScript or Cypress
• Good to have Mobile app testing and automation experience using appium
