Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Kolkata seeks an experienced Azure integration architect to lead end-to-end integration initiatives using Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid and APIM.

You will mentor a team, define patterns (API-led, event-driven, batch), ensure security and monitoring, and drive DevOps adoption with IaC.

Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of Azure Integration Services with hands-on experience using .NET Core.
• Hands-on experience with Copilot for rapid deliverables.
• Deep understanding of REST, GraphQL, SOAP, JSON and XML/XSLT.
• Experience with Azure Logic Apps (Standard & Consumption).
• Experience with Azure API Management (Policy design, Security, Developer Portal).
• Experience with Azure Service Bus and Event Grid.
• Azure Functions (C#/.NET preferred).
• Experience with OAuth2, Managed Identities, JWT, and Azure Key Vault.
• Hybrid connectivity with Azure On-Premises Data Gateway and Hybrid Connections.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory for bulk data movement and ETL processes.

Responsibilities

• Architectural Leadership: Define and drive the integration strategy and roadmap.
• Solution Design & Development: Lead complex integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management (APIM).
• Governance & Standards: Enforce API security, error handling, logging, and monitoring (Azure Monitor & App Insights).
• Technical Mentorship: Guide a team of integration developers and conduct code reviews.
• DevOps & Automation: Promote CI/CD pipelines and IaC (Bicep/Terraform) for deployments.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with BAs and Product Owners to translate business logic into technical specs.

Key Responsibilities*

• Solution Design & Development: Lead the implementation of complex integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management (APIM).
• Governance & Standards: Establish and enforce best practices for API security, error handling, logging, and monitoring (using Azure Monitor and Application Insights).
• Technical Mentorship: Lead a team of integration developers, conducting code reviews and providing technical guidance to resolve complex roadblocks.
• DevOps & Automation: Drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Terraform).
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners to translate business logic into technical specifications.
