You will design data lakes, warehouses, and integration pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Databricks while aligning with client requirements.

You will model data, optimize performance and security, and mentor teams across regions. A 10+ year background in data roles and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/IT or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or data analytics.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and familiarity with big data technologies like Apache Spark.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design data analytics solutions on Azure, including datalakes and data warehouses.
• Utilize Azure services (Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Data Lake, and Machine Learning) to build end-to-end solutions.
• Estimate effort, timeline, and cost from customer requirements and RFPs.
• Identify gaps, ask targeted questions, and propose high-level architectural approaches.
• Develop and implement data models, ETL processes, and data integration pipelines.
• Optimize data storage and processing for performance, scale, and cost.
• Ensure data governance and security, including RBAC and encryption.
• Create architecture diagrams and write technical documentation and best-practice guides.

Job Description

• Architectand Design:Lead the design andarchitecture ofdataanalytics solutions on Azure, includingdatalakes,datawarehouses,dataintegration pipelines, and Databricks.
• Azure Expertise:Utilize Azure services such as Microsoft Fabrics, AzureDataFactory, Azure Synapse Analytics, AzureDatabricks, AzureDataLake, and Azure Machine Learning to build end-to-enddataanalytics solutions.
• Estimation & RFP Response :Proven ability to analyse and interpret customer requirements from RFP documents and supporting information.
• Skilled in identifying gaps and asking relevant, targeted questions to clarify requirements. Capable of proposing high-level solutions andarchitectural approaches aligned with customer needs. Experienced in estimating effort, timeline, and cost based on industry standards and technical scope, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives
• DataModeling:Develop and implementdatamodels, ETL processes, anddataintegration solutions to ensuredatais clean, accurate, and available for analysis.
• Performance Optimization:Optimizedatastorage and processing for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Governance and Security:Ensure thatdatasolutions adhere to best practices fordatagovernance, security, and compliance, including implementing role-based access control and encryption.
• Documentation:Create and maintainarchitecture diagrams, technical documentation, and best practices guides fordataanalytics solutions.

Requirements

• Education:Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:10+ years of experience indataarchitecture,dataengineering, ordataanalytics, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
• Programming:Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and familiarity with bigdatatechnologies like Apache Spark.
• Analytical Skills:Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complexdatarequirements and develop appropriate solutions.
• Communication:Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications:Microsoft Azure certifications such as AzureDataEngineer, Azure SolutionsArchitect, Databricks or similar are highly desirable.
