Job summary

EY in India is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to lead design, implementation, and optimization of cloud security tooling across multi-cloud environments. This role sits at the intersection of security engineering, policy-as-code, and DevSecOps.

You will drive measurable improvements in cloud risk posture, governance, and compliance maturity while collaborating with global teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud technology experience.
• Security in CI/CD and secure development practices.
• 2+ years with CSPM tools (Prisma Cloud, Orca Security, Wiz or Defender).
• 2+ years scripting (Python, Bash) and automation.
• 4+ years in cloud security and governance.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a senior Cloud Security Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud security tooling and governance across multi-cloud environments. This role sits at the intersection of security engineering, policy-as-code, and DevSecOps, driving measurable improvements in cloud risk posture and compliance maturity.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and optimization of Wiz CSPM & CWPP tools to secure cloud-native applications across containers, serverless environments, and virtual machines (VMs) such as Wiz Cloud, Wiz code experience.
• Design secure cloud architectures and embed security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and enforce policies for secure cloud-native deployments.
• Drive security automation and DevSecOps maturity across teams.
• Create dashboards and reports for executive visibility into cloud risk posture.
• Ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Skills And Attributes For Success

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Expert-level knowledge of cloud security tools and multi-cloud environments.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native security, container security, and serverless protection.

What We Look For

• Minimum 5+ years of Cloud technology.
• Sound understanding of secured CI/CD implementation processes, advance techniques and integration knowledge.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with one more more CSPM tools (Prisma/Orca Security/Wiz/Defender).
• 2+ years of experience in using Ansible, Packer, Github Actions, Bash scripting etc.
• 2+ years of experience in using any Vulnerability management tool, preferably Qualys.
• 2+ years of Python development for automation.
• 2+ years of Terraform experience for secured cloud infrastructure provisioning.
• 4+ years in cloud security and multi-cloud governance.
