You will oversee statutory filings, audits, and advisory services to optimize tax positions and governance.

The role requires 15–20 years of experience in tax, strong leadership, and ability to drive standardization, automation, and digitalization across a multinational manufacturing and IT services

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of experience in taxation and related areas.
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
• Experience with direct and indirect tax and statutory compliance.

Responsabilités

• Lead comprehensive taxation operations encompassing both direct and indirect taxes to ensure seamless execution and compliance
• Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements facilitating timely and accurate filing of tax returns
• Review and validate tax computations, reconciliations, and reports to maintain accuracy and integrity
• Coordinate with tax authorities, statutory auditors, and external consultants to manage audits and inquiries
• Implement strategic tax planning initiatives to optimize tax positions and mitigate potential risks
• Monitor service level agreements and key performance indicators to ensure adherence to established processes and standards
• Drive initiatives for process standardization, automation, and digitalization to enhance operational efficiency
• Address and resolve escalations related to tax disputes or audits ensuring swift resolution
• Lead and nurture high-performing taxation teams fostering excellence and continuous improvement

Job Purpose/ Summary

Lead the Taxation Tower, owning end-to-end direct and indirect tax operations including compliance, reporting, statutory filings, audits, and advisory. Drive process standardization, automation, risk management, and governance across multiple business units.

As the Taxation Tower Head, you will spearhead the comprehensive management of both direct and indirect tax operations, ensuring seamless compliance and reporting across all business units. Your role involves overseeing statutory filings, audits, and providing expert advisory services to optimize tax strategies. You will drive the standardization and automation of tax processes, enhancing efficiency and governance. With a focus on risk management, you will implement robust measures to mitigate potential tax-related risks. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain strong relationships with tax authorities and auditors. Your leadership will be pivotal in developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
