HITACHI VANTARA INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a focused Indirect Tax Analyst to support GST returns and compliance within a multinational environment.

You will assist in preparing and analyzing indirect tax returns, research Indian tax laws, maintain records, and collaborate with finance and operations to ensure timely filings and accurate tax reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or accounting.
• 0–1 year of experience in indirect tax.
• Strong GST knowledge for India.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication.

What role you will play in team:

Contribute to the efficient and accurate processing of indirect tax returns for a large multinational corporation.

What you will do:

You will support the team by assisting in the preparation and analysis of indirect tax returns.

Key responsibility:

• Assist in the preparation of indirect tax returns (GST, VAT, etc.).
• Analyze tax data for accuracy and compliance.
• Research and interpret relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate tax records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate tax filings.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of internal tax processes.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in commerce, accounting, or a related field.
• 0-1 year of experience in indirect tax.
• Strong understanding of GST and other indirect taxes in India.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
