Job summary

EY in Ahmedabad is seeking an Analyst-FS-Tax-GCR to support Global Compliance & Reporting engagements. The role concentrates on SEZ, GST, and IFSCA/GIFT City regulations, delivering end-to-end compliance with precise documentation and client-ready outputs.

The candidate will track regulatory updates, prepare technical viewpoints on changes, and assist in client servicing and business development through tax compliance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Commerce, MBA or equivalent qualifications.
• 3+ years preferred but up to 2 years experience accepted in GIFT IFSC/GST/SEZ compliance domains.

Responsibilities

• Support IFSCA, SEZ, and GST compliances end-to-end with accurate execution and documentation.
• Prepare reports, trackers, presentations, and client deliverables using MS Office.
• Track regulatory updates and develop clear viewpoints on changes and their implications for clients.
• Provide structured support in client servicing and business development through tax compliance expertise.

• Strong understanding of SEZ Regulations, Goods and Services Tax Law, and GIFT City and IFSCA regulations to support compliance engagements. Ability to manage IFSCA, SEZ, and GST compliances end-to-end with accurate execution and documentation. Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for preparing reports, trackers, presentations, and client deliverables. Capable of tracking regulatory updates and developing clear technical viewpoints on compliance changes and implications. Able to provide structured support in client servicing and business development through tax compliance expertise and process coordination.
