Role Overview:
Qualified Chartered Accountant with experience in corporate tax, international tax, and transfer pricing.
The Scope of Your Influence:
Corporate & International Taxation:
- – Assist in structuring cross-border transactions to optimize tax positions.
- – Handle compliance for international tax filings, including Form 15CBs, tax residency certificates and withholding tax management.
- – Monitor changes in tax regulations and ensure compliance with all corporate and international tax laws.
- – Review and manage tax treaties and their implications on cross-border operations.
- – Collaborate with international teams to ensure compliance with local and international tax requirements.
Transfer Pricing:
- – Assist in the preparation and review of transfer pricing documentation and benchmarking studies.
- – Manage the development and maintenance of transfer pricing policies in line with local and international regulations.
- – Support in transfer pricing audits and assessments, providing necessary documentation and analysis.
- – Analyze intercompany transactions to ensure they are aligned with arms length standards.
Tax Advisory and Strategy:
- – Assist in data-backed tax planning strategies and regulatory advisory support to senior management.
- – Stay updated on tax regulations or developments to identify opportunities for tax savings and their potential impact on the business.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- – Work closely with finance, legal, and operations teams to address tax implications of business decisions.
- – Liaise with external tax consultants, advisors, vendors, and partners as required, ensuring effective coordination and engagement.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- – Ensure accurate and timely tax filings to minimize risks of penalties and disputes.
- – Conduct regular reviews of tax processes and identify areas for improvement in compliance.
Requirements:
- – Strong knowledge of domestic and international tax laws and regulations.
- – Expertise in transfer pricing regulations and documentation requirements.
- – Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax legislation.
- – Prior experience with a Big 4 firm or a multinational corporation is preferred.
- – Proficiency in tax software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- – Specialization in taxation, relevant certifications in international tax and transfer pricing, or familiarity with litigation management in the software industry.
