Job summary

Koch Capability Company in Bengaluru seeks a Tactical Procurement Buyer to support indirect procurement across IT, HR, Finance, Facilities and Corporate Services. You will link day-to-day execution with sourcing initiatives to drive cost-efficient purchasing and supplier compliance.

You will lead RFIs/RFQs/RFPs, negotiate terms, manage POs and supplier relationships, and collaborate on SOWs, MSAs and NDAs while driving spend analytics and continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of procurement, sourcing, purchasing or commercial management experience.
• Experience supporting indirect procurement in corporate/tech/manufacturing/shared services.
• Experience managing supplier interactions and purchase-order processes.
• Experience with S2P and P2P processes including RFIs/RFQs/RFPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead low-to-mid complexity sourcing events (RFIs, RFQs, RFPs) and evaluate proposals.
• Execute spot-buying and negotiate pricing, delivery and terms across IT, HR, Facilities and more.
• Collaborate with Legal and Risk on supplier selection and documentation (SOWs, MSAs, NDAs).
• Manage requisition-to-PO activities and resolve invoice, pricing and receipt discrepancies.
• Oversee supplier relationships, SLAs, KPIs, escalations and risk mitigation.
• Analyze spend and supplier data to identify savings and process improvements.
• Contribute to procurement controls, audit readiness and continuous improvement.

Job description

As a Tactical Procurement Buyer, you will support the procurement of indirect goods and services across Information Technology (IT), Human Resources (HR), Finance, Facilities and Corporate Services. You will connect day-to-day procurement execution with sourcing activities while helping deliver cost-effective purchasing, supplier compliance and operational efficiency.

Our Team

You will be part of the India Procurement Team, partnering with stakeholders across IT, Finance, HR, Facilities and Operations to translate business requirements into effective procurement solutions.

What You Will Do

• Lead low-to-mid complexity sourcing events, including Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs), and evaluate supplier proposals using commercial analysis, benchmarking and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Execute spot-buying and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms and service levels while supporting sourcing across IT hardware, professional services, Facilities, HR and recruiting services.
• Partner with business stakeholders, Legal and Risk on supplier selection, procurement requirements and documentation including Statements of Work (SOWs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
• Manage purchase requisition-to-purchase order activities, including requisition validation, timely PO creation and resolution of invoices, pricing, receipt and supplier-billing discrepancies.
• Manage supplier relationships, including onboarding, performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), escalations, compliance reviews and risk mitigation.
• Analyze spend, market information and supplier data to identify savings, supplier-consolidation and process-improvement opportunities, and prepare procurement reports and analytics that support decision‑making.
• Contribute to procurement controls, audit readiness, transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Who You Are

• 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing or commercial management.
• Experience supporting indirect procurement categories in a corporate, technology, manufacturing or shared‑services environment.
• Experience managing supplier interactions, commercial negotiations and purchase‑order processes.
• Experience with Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including RFIs, RFQs and RFPs.
• Hands‑on experience with Coupa, SAP Ariba, ServiceNow or another ERP/e-Procurement platform.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Procurement‑related certification.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel experience with data analysis, spend reporting and cost‑comparison models.
• Knowledge of contract terms, vendor onboarding, procurement compliance and Total Cost of Ownership concepts.
