Job summary

Citi is hiring an experienced Tableau and Python engineer to join the Markets Risk & Controls Technology group in Pune. You will build and own reporting dashboards, translate business requirements into technical specs, and collaborate with architects and stakeholders to automate reporting across risk and controls functions.

The role requires 10–12 years in IT, strong Python and Tableau expertise, and familiarity with SQL, Kubernetes, and Airflow.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of IT experience.
• Strong Python development skills for data processing.
• Proficiency with Tableau and Tableau Server for dashboards.
• Experience with SQL databases and data workflows.
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and modern SCM tools.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Airflow a plus.
• Ability to analyze Big Data and work with Delta tables.

We are looking to hire experienced Tableau and Python engineer to join our team responsible for building technology solutions for the Markets Risk and Control Team and for various business risk and controls functions. You will work with the Technical Leads/Architects, Business stakeholders to ensure we are meeting their requirements to develop and drive automation. This is an exciting opportunity to work on an important project for the group, which will have huge impact on the business and future design in this area.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and provide technical solutions to solve a variety of complex and interdependent processes.

• Build and maintain the platform ensuring timely delivery of work items across the multiple initiatives/components.
• Ensure all team members adhere to our code quality and testing standards.
• Test and debug programs Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.

Skills & Experience

• 10 to 12 years of IT experience
• Python development experience, particularly on data processing and the associated modules using Pandas
• Should have strong knowledge on Tableau and Tableau server
• Worked on Github Copilot and Devin
• Working knowledge of Databases (SQL) is required.
• Working knowledge of BitBucket or equivalent SCM tool is required.
• Knowledge of Apache Airflow is desirable Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
• Ability to multi-task and deliver to a tight deadline
• Should have knowledge on ECS and Kubernetes
• Ability to do analytics on Bigdata and Starburst query engine - Mandatory
• Knowledge on Data lakehouse and delta tables
• SHould be able to do Python upgrades and solve dependencies
