Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Systems Integration Advisor in Bengaluru to manage SQL Server environments from development through production, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. You will lead troubleshooting, automation, and end-to-end issue resolution while coordinating with on-site and customer teams.

The role requires 10+ years in SQL Server administration, strong scripting and T-SQL skills, and experience with SSIS/SSRS.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SQL Server Administration experience in an enterprise environment with multiple database servers is required.
• Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
• Experience with database administration.
• Experience with incident and problem queue management.
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
• Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory.
• Experience with scripting.
• Experience in SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL and PowerShell.
• Experience supporting Logical DBA activities.
• Experience with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
• Experience with custom tools, like SQL Compare.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems (weekend on-call).
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployments after hours.
• Share domain and technical expertise, mentoring and cross-training peers.
• Work directly with end customers, business stakeholders and technical resources.
• Collaborate with onsite lead and onsite DBAs.
• Work on automation and service improvements.

Basic Qualifications:
