In this position, you collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable, and innovative vehicle feature solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define, decompose, and manage Body Control feature requirements with full traceability across system, software, and hardware levels.
- Develop clear and comprehensive feature specifications, functional requirements, use cases, and interface definitions for Body Control systems.
- Support the development of system architectures, including conducting technical trade-off studies and contributing to informed decision-making.
- Lead and contribute to the development of access and security systems such as Keyless Entry, PEPS, Digital Key, Immobilizer, and Alarm Systems.
- Lead and contribute to the development of closure systems including power doors, tailgates, windows, sunroof systems, and associated safety features.
- Lead and contribute to the development of lighting systems, including interior, exterior, ambient, and signature lighting.
- Lead and contribute to the development of comfort and convenience features such as seats, mirrors, personalization, and user profile functions.
- Lead and contribute to the development of body electronics including body control modules (BCMs), sensors, actuators, and vehicle status monitoring functions.
- Define and manage system interfaces across body, security, lighting, infotainment, and connectivity systems to ensure seamless integration.
- Support integration, verification, and validation activities, including DVP planning, vehicle-level integration, and defect resolution.
- Participate in acceptance testing, technical reviews, and risk management activities to ensure system robustness and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with electrical, software, vehicle integration, and cybersecurity teams to deliver cohesive and secure system solutions.
- Work closely with external suppliers to align technical requirements, manage deliverables, and resolve integration issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and methodologies related to requirements engineering, system architecture, and validation for Body Control systems.
