ABOUT THE ROLE

The Systems and Master Data Management Manager is responsible for leading a team that enables Engineering, Facilities, EHS, and EOS operations through the governance, administration, and continuous improvement of business-critical systems, master data, and supporting business processes. The team serves as the bridge between Business and Technology, ensuring systems and data are reliable, compliant, scalable, and aligned with operational and enterprise objectives. This role is responsible for maintaining system integrity, enabling business process standardization, governing master data, supporting technology integrations, and ensuring users can effectively leverage systems to drive operational performance, compliance, and business outcomes. This role owns governance and operational oversight for key enterprise applications including SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG, Collibra, CMMS/EAM platforms, Cority, Sphera, Enablon, and other Engineering, Facilities, and EHS systems. The manager is accountable for ensuring systems remain operational, secure, compliant, and aligned with enterprise architecture, governance standards, and FAIR data principles. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Systems and Master Data Management, this role partners closely with Technology, Data Analytics, Operations, Quality, Compliance, Engineering, Facilities, and EHS stakeholders to deliver integrated system and data capabilities that support operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and long-term digital transformation strategies.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Builds and leads a high-performing team responsible for enterprise systems administration, master data management, governance, and operational support across Engineering, Facilities, EHS, and EOS domains. Owns governance, operational health, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of business-critical applications including SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG, Collibra, CMMS/EAM platforms, Cority, Sphera, Enablon, and related enterprise systems. Establishes and governs master data standards, ownership, stewardship models, lifecycle processes, and data quality controls to ensure trusted, consistent, and compliant business data. Leads SAP S/4HANA and enterprise transformation initiatives by ensuring data readiness, migration governance, master data quality, system integration readiness, and sustainable operating processes. Oversees system administration activities including access management, security controls, incident management, change management, release support, compliance monitoring, and operational support processes. Ensures data extracted from enterprise systems is complete, accurate, traceable, reconciled, and free from deficiencies before being consumed by downstream business functions, analytics platforms, and reporting solutions. Establishes governance capabilities utilizing Collibra to manage business glossaries, metadata, data lineage, stewardship workflows, ownership models, policies, controls, and data quality monitoring processes. Partners with Technology, Data Engineering, Operations, Quality, Compliance, Engineering, Facilities, and EHS stakeholders to align systems, master data, integrations, and governance capabilities with enterprise priorities. Supports enterprise integrations, FAIR data principles, data traceability, and sustainable business processes that enable operational effectiveness and informed decision-making. Drives continuous improvement initiatives focused on system reliability, governance maturity, data quality, operational efficiency, user experience, and business process standardization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 9 - 13 years of experience in Master Data Management, Systems Management, Enterprise Applications, Data Governance, Data Quality, or related disciplines. Hands-on experience supporting SAP S/4HANA environments, SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), and enterprise system integrations. Experience supporting CMMS/EAM platforms, Engineering systems, Asset Management systems, and enterprise operational applications. Experience managing master data standards, governance processes, data quality initiatives, and stewardship programs. Experience performing data extraction, ETL development, data transformation, validation, reconciliation, and lineage management activities. Strong understanding of data governance principles, metadata management, data quality controls, and master data lifecycle management. Experience delivering governed, traceable, and high-quality enterprise data assets for downstream consumption by reporting, analytics, integration, and operational systems. Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable systems and data solutions. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG, Collibra, SAP EAM/PM, CMMS, Maximo, or similar enterprise Engineering and Asset Management platforms. Experience supporting S/4HANA migration programs, master data conversion, data cleansing, and data readiness initiatives. Strong knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM), data governance, data quality, stewardship, and lifecycle management practices. Experience with EHS systems such as Cority, Sphera, Enablon, INCA, or similar platforms. Understanding of enterprise integrations, ETL processes, data lineage, metadata management, and traceability requirements. Experience establishing governance controls, reconciliation processes, and audit-ready data management practices. Knowledge of Clean Core principles, enterprise architecture standards, and regulated system governance. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to influence without direct authority. Experience partnering with Technology, Operations, Quality, Compliance, Engineering, EHS, and Business teams in global environments. Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement, support change management initiatives, and ensure delivery of high-quality, governed, and defect-free data.

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS

Professional certifications in SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG, SAP EAM/PM, CDMP, or related disciplines such as Data Governance, Data Quality, Asset Management, Information Management, and Enterprise Systems Administration are advantageous and considered a plus.
