Job summary

Cotiviti is seeking a security professional to support our SOC operations, develop detection rules, and assist analysts with complex incidents.

The role covers SIEM lifecycle management, threat research, and ensuring secure configurations across enterprise systems. Strong Python scripting and networking security experience are desirable.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop detection rules to support SOCs alerting and response capabilities.
• Provide expert analytic investigative support to analysts for complex security incidents.
• Implement and execute administrative, management, and lifecycle procedures for the SIEM.
• Review security controls measures, identify gaps in the security architecture, and implement improvements or enhancements as needed.
• Implement email security standards such as DKIM, SPF and DMARC.
• Deploy and operate network security tools including Antivirus, IDS, firewalls, proxies and security gateways.
• Evaluate system security configurations for efficacy and policy compliance.
• Research and investigate potential threats and recommend solutions to management.
• Provide guidance on risks, vulnerabilities within the architecture.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain DLP tools across enterprise systems.
• Automate tasks, reporting, and data processing using Python scripts.
• Communicate complex and technical issues effectively.

• Provides guidance on risks, vulnerabilities, or potential vulnerabilities within the architecture.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools and solutions across enterprise systems.
• Automate administrative tasks, reporting, and data processing using Python scripts and applications.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal include the capacity to communicate complex and technical issues.
