Durucooperation in Bengaluru, India is seeking a System Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and validate automotive electrification systems across the product lifecycle.
The role emphasizes defining system architecture, managing requirements, and integrating hardware and software using AUTOSAR, while ensuring ISO 26262 compliance and thorough system validation and bring-up activities.
The System Engineer is responsible for the design, development, integration, and validation of automotive electrification systems. The role involves defining system architecture, managing system requirements, integrating hardware and software using AUTOSAR standards, ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 functional safety, and supporting system validation throughout the product development lifecycle.
Define end-to-end system architecture for automotive electrification systems.
Allocate system requirements across hardware, software, and network layers.
Design and implement AUTOSAR Classic Platform system interfaces.
Capture, analyze, and manage system requirements with end-to-end traceability.
Translate functional requirements into AUTOSAR-compliant software architecture.
Configure AUTOSAR Software Components (SWCs), RTE, BSW, and MCAL modules.
Support ECU configuration, integration, debugging, and bring-up activities.
Work with automotive communication protocols including CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet.
Develop and execute system integration and validation strategies using MIL, SIL, and HIL methodologies.
Perform fault injection, robustness testing, and vehicle-level validation.
Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 functional safety processes including HARA, ASIL, FSC, and TSC.
Conduct safety analysis using FMEA and FTA techniques.
Support firmware updates, bootloader implementation, and ECU flashing activities.
Collaborate with hardware, software, mechanical, validation, and cross-functional engineering teams.
Participate in system calibration, diagnostics, and performance optimization.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related discipline.
Strong experience in Automotive System Engineering.
Hands-on experience with AUTOSAR Classic Platform.
Strong understanding of automotive E/E architecture and electrification systems.
Experience with ECU development, integration, and validation.
Knowledge of ISO 26262 Functional Safety lifecycle.
Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet).
Hands-on experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, Lauterbach, or Trace32.
Experience with MCAL configuration, ECU abstraction, and embedded software integration.
Knowledge of diagnostics (UDS, OBD), bootloaders, and FOTA.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
