Job summary

Tekskills Inc. in India is seeking a System Administrator/ Unix Administrator with 7-9 years of hands-on experience to manage Unix/Linux environments.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, scripting automation, and maintaining system reliability in enterprise IT settings. Candidates should have strong shell scripting and text processing skills, experience with large-scale infrastructure, and a proactive approach to incident resolution.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years of hands-on system administration experience on Unix/Linux platforms.
• Strong shell scripting and text processing skills.
• Experience in enterprise IT environments and ITIL-like practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer Unix/Linux servers and services.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline operations.
• Monitor system performance, handle incidents, and ensure security compliance.
