Job summary

Net Connect is seeking a senior Linux/system administrator to manage enterprise Linux servers, with Oracle Linux or RHEL expertise, across mission-critical workloads.

You will monitor Oracle Exadata components, work with OCI services, and coordinate with ITIL processes for incidents, changes, and recovery activities.

Experience in banking or financial services is advantageous; this on-site Mumbai role offers stability and exposure to critical systems.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of experience in system administration, focusing on Linux environments.
• Expertise in Linux server administration with Oracle Linux or RHEL preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata architecture and troubleshooting.
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) including Compute/Networking/Storage.
• Familiar with ITIL-based incident, problem and change management.
• Basic shell scripting or Bash to automate tasks.
• Banking/financial services experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Linux servers in enterprise environments.
• Monitor performance, apply patches/updates, and ensure security and integrity.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, storage, and logs for smooth operations.
• Monitor and support Oracle Exadata infrastructure and components.
• Coordinate with DB, network, storage, app, and security teams to resolve issues.
• Support backup, recovery, DR, and business continuity with relevant teams.
• Oversee incidents, problems, and changes following ITIL processes.
• Engage with OCI services for cloud monitoring and provisioning.
